Two-to-four years related experience and/or training required; Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Understanding of medical terminology and protocols


Strong supervisory skills with direct working experience and strong verbal and written communications skills

Strong knowledge of physician billing, preferably in pediatrics, anesthesia and pain management with 3+ years of direct work experience

Must have a strong knowledge and understanding of physician billing and claims generation

Should have knowledge and understanding of CMS Medicare and insurance payors claims filing requirements associated with modifier usage and concurrency compliance

Ability to reason through situations and make sound business decisions

Must work well with others and lead by example

Strong conflict management skills and the ability to resolve issues objectively and factually

Must have good project management skills with the ability to delegate and manage multiple projects and have excellent Excel and Word applications skills

Ability to work under pressure with deadlines and manage processes that are time sensitive

Strong skills for documenting new processes and/or modifying existing processes

Ability to train others to perform their assigned task correctly and efficiently
